#YouthShapeGhana is an exclusive virtual program designed for Ghanaian youth, and created by Goodwall, in partnership with UNICEF Ghana and Generation Unlimited.

The online program offers a gateway to new opportunities both educational and professional through six weeks of inspiring themed challenges, top speakers and community content available exclusively on the Goodwall app.

Throughout the program you can win awards, listen to inspiring leaders, and develop key soft and hard skills, ending with a digital certificate you can add to your CV.

No, the program is completely free.

The program runs from 5 November to 23 December 2021. 

In addition, all those who participate in the program will also benefit from Goodwall’s current and future programs and activities, such as programs and weekly challenges.

There will be a total of four challenges throughout the six-week program. The challenges will be focused on topics such as climate change, mental health, gender equality and career development.

Throughout the duration of the program, winners will get the chance to receive monetary prizes from a $5000 cash pool as well as scholarships to online courses. 

The selection criteria will be co-defined between the partners and will be tailored to the specific challenges and rewards offered. The winners will be shortlisted by Goodwall and presented to the jury based on relevance, level of innovation, quality of production and action taken.

For the main challenges and rewards, the first part of the selection process can be done by Goodwall Community Managers and final selection by a jury made of representatives of the program partners.

Winners will be awarded at the end of each challenge while others will be announced at the end of the program.

Start off by downloading the Goodwall app (iOS and Android)! Once you are set up with your profile on Goodwall, all you have to do is share your response to a challenge in a video of maximum 3 minutes, photo, or text posted on your Goodwall profile, tagging the corresponding challenge hashtag and #YouthShapeGhana – simple as that!

Yes, you are more than welcome to get involved at any point during the program and pick the challenges which resonate with you the most. However, we do recommend participating in the full program from the start in order to get the most benefit out of the program.
